2011 NIAA 4A State Champions
& Sunrise Region Champions!
The Green Valley Gators won the 2011 NIAA 4A State Championship by defeating the Reed Raiders in a hard-fought battle for the title. The victory clinched Green Valley's fifth State title overall after earning State Runner-Up the previous two seasons.
To get to State, the Gators knocked out the Las Vegas Wildcats in the Region Championship match. The 2011 Region Championship is Green Valley's ninth overall and 3rd in a row. Over the course of the season, Green Valley went 31-6 overall and 14-0 in the Southeast League of the Sunrise Region on their way to their thirteenth Conference Championship.
